Feliciter issue on emerging technologies

Hi everyone – since Amanda and I were the guest editors for the recent Feliciter issue (vol. 56 no. 5), and since the CLA allows all authors to repost their articles (Creative Commons licenses FTW!), here’s a collection of the featured articles for the issue.

Theme: Emerging technologies in libraries

Emerging technology as an enabler (guest editorial) – Amy Buckland & Amanda Etches-Johnson

A user experience primer – Cecily Walker

Building communities with large group methods and social media – Ryan Deschamps

Using a local chat server in your library – John Fink

Libraries evolve to stay connected: Building the YourLibrary iPad app – Rob Zylstra & Stephanie Thero

Livres numériques: le papier est la meilleure platforme – Patrick M. Lozeau

Thanks to everyone involved – especially the awesome folk at the CLA head office!
